Since hitting live servers in late November, WoW's latest expansion, Dragonflight, has breathed new life into the long-running MMORPG. Players have been enjoying new raids, new classes, and all the new content--players are hungry for information about the future of the game.

Thankfully, the developer has released a full timeline for 2023, including a roadmap for the next two seasons.

WoW Dragonflight Season 2 and 3 Information Announced
On December 21, Blizzard released Dragonflight's content roadmap, detailing their plans for each patch in 2023.

The recently announced trading post system, along with the ability to transmogrify low and normal-quality items and some new world content coming to the Primalist Tomorrow region, will be released in mid-January 2023 with the next patch 10.0.5.

After that, another patch 10.0.7 will be released in Spring 2023. The patch will bring back the restricted area, human and orc heritage armor, and holiday updates.

Dragonflight Season 2 will then release Patch 10.1 sometime between the Spring and Summer of 2023. Season 2 will bring new raids, zones, PvP season, professional updates, UI improvements, and more.

After that, two more patches will provide more content until Season 3 arrives sometime after Fall 2023. Season 3 will offer another new raid, zone, PvP season and more.

Players can look forward to 10.1.5 in the summer, 10.1.7 in the fall, and 10.2 before the end of the year. While there isn't much information on these content patches just yet, World of Warcraft plans to listen to feedback to shape the player experience, promising more content with less downtime. At the very least, players can look forward to large dungeons, holidays, and world events in these patches, as well as new story chapters.

Knowing that WoW Dragonflight will continue to receive more content over the next year may come as a relief to many fans, and will keep the game fresh and interesting for months to come.
